So that’s rounds 3 and 4 over with at Birmingham - and we had everything from big wins to huge crashes over the weekend. Conditions were dry and all our equipment worked flawlessly. Everyone is looking forward to the next rounds in Scotland now.
I had a great weekend, finished 1st on cruiser and 1st on 20 " on Saturday. Sunday 1st on cruiser and 2nd on 20". Great results in dry and dusty conditions. The Tioga Fastr tyres worked a treat. Thoroughly enjoyable weekend with the team apart from Karl's injury.
Joe currently leads the National ranking in both the 16 age group and 15-16 Cruiser.
Happy to have made the main both days finishing 7th on both occasions. I was particularly happy to be in the mix with some really fast opposition whilst carrying shoulder injuries from my crash two weeks ago.
John currently lies in fifth in National rankings in the 45-49 Cruiser age group.
After a slow start on Saturday finishing 7th in the final I made a strong comeback on the Saturday winning my first moto followed by a 4th and a 2nd then a 4th in the final, happy with how I'm riding after six month off the bike and glad to say the training is starting and I'm looking forward to Scotland
Josie currently lies in fifth in National rankings in the 17-29 Female Cruiser age group.
Moto 1. 3rd behind ex-world champ and new boy in class. Moto 2 won with 3 of weekends finalists in. Moto 3 stacked with all the top riders. Wheel spun on the gate. Battled for 4th on the line with national no1. But was pipped and got 5th. Semi final went downhill with hitting the gate. Resulting in fractured bone in hand. Weekend over.
Karl is out now with his broken hand but hopes to be back for the next round.
